In preparation for the 65th Multiple District 308 Lions Convention at Sunway Convention Centre (22nd – 25th April 2027), a simple idea took shape—transforming discarded plastic bottles into something meaningful.
What began as a modest recycling effort soon evolved into a bold vision:
“A Majestic Lion”, crafted entirely from used plastic bottles.
Collected from homes, schools, and businesses, each bottle became more than just recycled material—it became a symbol of participation. Piece by piece, through dedication and teamwork, the structure came to life.
The journey was full with challenges. The design was reworked, the structure rebuilt, and countless hours spent shaping and assembling. But with perseverance, the lion emerged—strong, radiant, and full of meaning.
This Lion is more than just a sculpture, it stands as a powerful message:
Sustainability – reminding us that nothing is truly waste
Unity – showing how small contributions create great impact
Service – demonstrating how creativity can inspire change
This lion will welcome as delegates arrive—not just as a piece of decoration, but as a story.
This lion is not just built by a team—it is built by a community.
